Monday - Free Reading Day
Tuesday - Free Reading Day Wednesday - Today the bellringer was, "In your journal, tell me what a community is. Are communities important? Why or why not? List all the communities you belong to." *Today we began Seedfolks. Seedfolks is written from many different points of view. Point of view is up on our word wall as a term that everyone should know. Today we will read Kim and Ana's chapters; we will read their point of view. Character Sketch Directions: Each chapter is told from another character's point of view. For each chapter, students need to draw a picture of the character and write eight things about them around the picture. This goes in the "Reading" section of the class binder. Today you need to do Kim and Ana. Thursday - Today the bellringer was to Silent Read. Character Sketch on Wendell Friday - 10 AR points due today - We were in the lab taking tests and reading. Tuesday - Students worked in the star lab revising for character development (orange revision). |
